Grammar Exercise — Kevinbacon

If a primary caretaker has a negative attitude toward her child it increases the risk that her child will grow up hostile towards others. Aggression towards others is not the only thing that results from child abuse; a large amount of children raised by abusive parents also harm themselves. Children who don’t learn appropriate techniques for handling life’s disappointments develop this negative behavior. If we aren’t raised with coping skills, we are much more likely to act “inappropriately” then if we had developed more reasonable approaches. The affect of poor parenting as reported by Dr. Geoffrey Dahmer in “The Bully Papers,” is that parents get the children they deserve.
