Core Value 1. My work demonstrates that I used a variety of social and interactive practices that involve recursive stages of exploration, discovery, conceptualization, and development.

Writing has not always been my strength so this paper was very difficult for me. Throughout the process I’ve learned to take my time and do as much research as possible before hand. I was confused as to how this essay should even start off in the beginning because I didn’t feel comfortable enough and because I didn’t want it to go in the wrong direction. As you read all the information will piece together and prove my thesis.

Core Value 2. My work demonstrates that I read critically, and that I placed texts into conversation with one another to create meaning by synthesizing ideas from various discourse communities.

In this research paper I wanted to lay off giving my opinion. I wanted to use as much data as possible to show that these are all real-life studies that are being taken very seriously. Without using found sources there would be no point in doing the research, so I used my sources where I thought they educated best.

Core Value 3. My work demonstrates that I rhetorically analyzed the purpose, audience, and contexts of my own writing and other texts and visual arguments.

I wrote my research paper to be as informative as possible. Although I wanted to prove my thesis I also thought it was important to educate my audience at the same time. I defended all arguments with real data found in my sources.

Core Value 4: My work demonstrates that I have met the expectations of academic writing by locating, evaluating, and incorporating illustrations and evidence to support my own ideas and interpretations.

I’ve located, evaluated, and incorporated all information in every section needed to support my ideas. Every point was proven with real research and real studies.

Core Value 5. My work demonstrates that I respect my ethical responsibility to represent complex ideas fairly and to the sources of my information with appropriate citation.

Anything taken from a source is quoted and the publisher is acknowledged and given full credit. I respected all ethical responsibilities and provided my information fairly.

Self-Reflective Statement- Peter Bomersbach

Core Value 1. My work demonstrates that I used a variety of social and interactive practices that involve recursive stages of exploration, discovery, conceptualization, and development.

The work from my Definition Rewrite is a perfect example of how I met my goal of exploration and development. This was the first argument we had to create to start our research and it really gave me some good ideas and resources to use for the future arguments. Also the fact that there are multiple versions of the definition essay which get better and better is a good example of how my work develops over time. All three arguments could be a good example but the definition argument stand out the most to me since it was the first that got me into the research and information.

Core Value 2. My work demonstrates that I read critically, and that I placed texts into conversation with one another to create meaning by synthesizing ideas from various discourse communities.

The assignment Safer Saws is a good example of how that piece of work shows what I did with using other user’s ideas and opinions on Saw Stop. I used the opinions stated by various customers that had bought safe stop and used them to determine what type of claim it is. This is an assignment that uses other people’s statements and ideas which are put into my words to create meaning and if I agree or disagree with their point of view. I have also critically read what they had to say and I had to disagree with some of them.

Core Value 3. My work demonstrates that I rhetorically analyzed the purpose, audience, and contexts of my own writing and other texts and visual arguments.

A good example of rhetorical analysis is the assignment visual rhetoric. It let me watch a video that has no audio and only use my eyes and what  believe to be true. Throughout the video I would try and describe detail in every given image. I analyzed the purpose and audience the video was trying to portray and it was talking about feeding America and maybe how some of the population doesn’t get to supply themselves with food but still have a lot of love to give.

Core Value 4: My work demonstrates that I have met the expectations of academic writing by locating, evaluating, and incorporating illustrations and evidence to support my own ideas and interpretations.

My piece of work Research Argument is a good example that illustrates evidence that support my ideas and beliefs. Throughout the research aspect of this assignment, I really found many studies and scientists that do agree violent video games are not for kids. All the information I found on that topic including studies support my idea or claim as to why kids should not play violent video games.

Core Value 5. My work demonstrates that I respect my ethical responsibility to represent complex ideas fairly and to the sources of my information with appropriate citation.

The annotated bibliography is a great example of sources of my information that represent complex ideas and even have appropriate citation. It has reasons as to why I chose that resource and why it is relevant to my topic of Violent video games are not for kids. It should be properly cited with the authors name and date of publication if applicable. Also the work taken from the resources are cited and used fairly with the authors given ideas stated clearly.

Reflective Statement – CarsonWentz

Core Value 1. My work demonstrates that I used a variety of social and interactive practices that involve recursive stages of exploration, discovery, conceptualization, and development.

Once it became our job to find a topic to research about I knew I wanted to pick something with gun control because this topic interest me.  It then became a struggle for me to narrow down on a specific thesis in this gun control topic because there is so many different factors.  I had partially narrowed down to homicide rates, and was still stuck, and thats when feedback and conversation with Professor Hodges allowed me to finally get to a really narrowed thesis.  It was in one of our meetings that we talked about the research I have already done about homicide rates, and the characteristics in a city that trends with higher or lower homicide rate, when Professor brought about the topic of finding two cities with similar characteristics, but with different gun laws, and examining the homicide rates.  This was truly helpful and is what I ended up researching for my research paper.

Core Value 2. My work demonstrates that I read critically, and that I placed texts into conversation with one another to create meaning by synthesizing ideas from various discourse communities.

Throughout the semester, there was a lot of researching, which brought the need for reading critically many times.  One of the first assignments we had to do was the “Stone Money” assignment where we had to listen to the NPR’s broadcast, and read about the island of Yap’s money system and bitcoin.  The idea of “money is fiction” was an idea that I have never really thought about before, and after reading and listening about it multiple times, it brought new ideas to me that I was able to write about.  From critically looking into these different sources, I found that the same type of money system the people from Yap used, it very similar to our’s today, with credit cards, mobile banking, and even bitcoin.

Core Value 3. My work demonstrates that I rhetorically analyzed the purpose, audience, and contexts of my own writing and other texts and visual arguments.

The assignment that I really had to analyze the purpose, audience, and contexts of other texts was definitely the “Safer Saws” assignment.  There were many different sources for this topic from lawyers, safety commissions, the owner of Safe Stop, customer reviews, and even a video of showing the Safe Saw technology in action.  It really made me think and realize that each different source had a different viewpoint and was writing with different purpose.  It was very interesting to see that the technology made by Steve Gass that would save many saw injuries from happening does not have everybody’s approval to make it mandatory for all saws to have it, but realizing the different audience’s purpose to disagree made sense.

Core Value 4: My work demonstrates that I have met the expectations of academic writing by locating, evaluating, and incorporating illustrations and evidence to support my own ideas and interpretations.

The best assignment that demonstrates this value would be my visual rhetoric assignment.  This assignment was very interesting to me because it made me really think about what the people who make the commercials think about when making them.  Within every screen shot, there was so much happening, and to interpret those illustrations, second by second, was actually more challenging than I expected.  This is a good example of this value because it wasn’t just writing what was displayed, but we had to interpret and explain why certain things were done a certain way.

Core Value 5. My work demonstrates that I respect my ethical responsibility to represent complex ideas fairly and to the sources of my information with appropriate citation.

Throughout the semester a lot of research was done on my topic, which means a lot of sources need to be credited in my writing.  My bibliography best demonstrates my ethical responsibility and that is where the sources are for my research topic.  This semester I was taught a new way of citing our sources, unlike the MLA style I have done so in the past, which was actually easier.  Many different articles, journals, and studies were used in my writing and I was positively sure that they were cited when used.

Core Value 1. My work demonstrates that I used a variety of social and interactive practices that involve recursive stages of exploration, discovery, conceptualization, and development.

As someone who is not the best writer, this class was a major challenge to me. However, I definitely feel as my writing skills have improved since the beginning of the semester. When I went to revise my short arguments, I realized how much I actually improved. This is specifically the case for my Definition Rewrite. I changed my hypothesis many times throughout the semester and ultimately had to make significant changes to my definition argument. I researched and read many different sources before finalizing my hypothesis, as social media has been a topic that has been overdone. Even though this took a lot of time, I feel proud of the work I did, as took the topic of social media and made it my own by discussing the variations of how it does not help children. I discussed my thesis many times with my roommate and close friends many times, but ultimately, being able to have one on one conferences with Professor Hodges gave me the opportunity to collaborate with him in my research. If it weren’t for these conferences, I wouldn’t have been able to form my hypothesis.

Core Value 2. My work demonstrates that I read critically, and that I placed texts into conversation with one another to create meaning by synthesizing ideas from various discourse communities.

Having to come up with my own research topic and find research to back up my hypothesis was a big challenge. I had to spend a lot of time researching for evidence that could help prove that my hypothesis is true. In my research paper, I used a variety of sources intertwined together to help strengthen my thesis. Being able to combine different research together made my argument as strong as it could be, and helped me explain why social media is a problem for today’s youth. I made sure to explain in my paper what information belonged to who, but in the end, I created work that helped make my research paper what it is now, while of course keeping my academic integrity and cite my sources.

Core Value 3. My work demonstrates that I rhetorically analyzed the purpose, audience, and contexts of my own writing and other texts and visual arguments.

I believe my rebuttal rewrite represents this core value very well. When writing my definition and causal arguments, I was only focusing on one side of the argument I was making, which is that social media hinders children’s development and that parents need to be responsible for their children. However, there are two sides to every story. In my rebuttal, I wrote about how children don’t need their parents, and that they are capable of taking care of themselves by learning from their mistakes. In the argument, however, I made sure to refute this by saying why kids need a positive role model in their life to guide them to make the right decisions. I had to write a different purpose for my thesis that was intended for a different audience but had to refute it to get my point across.

Core Value 4: My work demonstrates that I have met the expectations of academic writing by locating, evaluating, and incorporating illustrations and evidence to support my own ideas and interpretations.

The visual rhetoric is a great example of this core value. We had to watch a 30-second ad council. Public service announcement without the sound while describing the video second by second. At first, I thought this was going to be an easy assignment as I just had to write down what I saw. While this is true, I also had to incorporate the director’s intentions. Thus, this assignment incorporated the use of illustrations while describing what these visuals were to supposed to make the audience feel. I had to go back and re-watch the video multiple times to understand what the smallest details meant as well as why the camera angle was placed where it was. Bringing in my own interpretations along with the illustrations helped me interpret the director’s intentions.

Core Value 5. My work demonstrates that I respect my ethical responsibility to represent complex ideas fairly and to the sources of my information with appropriate citation.

Academic integrity is one of the most important things to me, as it should be for every student as well. I wouldn’t be able to include my own thoughts and opinions in my work if I didn’t research and read another people’s work. My annotated bibliography encompasses my ethical responsibility of a writer and student, as I explained what the source was about, and most importantly, how I used them in my research paper. Even in my research paper, I made sure to use cite each source in the correct way, as well as use quotation marks for all direct quotes, even if they were two words. This core value will forever main the most important to me, as I can never take credit for anyone else’s work but my own.

Reflection Essay- kinggkunta

After several weeks of intensive writing, we are finally at the end. Technically there is no end to this, and by this, I mean writing. As put in the first core value of Rowan’s first-year writing program, we establish the concept that writing involves a recursive multistage social process. That way our writing gets better. For example, the first draft of my causal argument must be one of the worst things I’ve ever written in my life, but after a series of revisions and conferences with my professor, I produced a well-polished final product.

But before I could get there, I had to read other scholastic works and understand them. My personal favorite was the visual rhetoric assignment, which allowed me to watch a short clip(visual only) and produce my understanding of what I just watched. The difficult part of this assignment was when we had to describe each frame as we see it. I quickly found out each person has a unique view on things. Ultimately each view contributed to the conversations on a broader level and widened the understanding of the assignment. Rowan’s first-year writing core value 2 basically elaborates on that.

For the third core value, we are strongly urged to know our audience as we write. For the most part throughout my writing process, I had no clue who my audience was, but finally, I found it, and it turns out not to be my professor, but rather a young adult who lives in Glassboro. It took me several weeks to finally figure this out, but I did. The language I used in my research paper shows the audience my paper is for.

Fourth, Know what you are talking about. This means research your subject matter, and educate yourself first before you decide to teach others. I think this was the second challenge I faced throughout the writing process. And just like like every hurdle I faced, I overcame. After researching my topic, I found enough information to make my research paper.

Now on the last and final core value provided to us by Rowan’s first-year writing program. Always give credit to fellow writers. First of it’s ethical, and the world hates lairs. Don’t plagiarize others’ contents. Site all sources, and if possible create a bibliography at the end of your work so, our audience will know where we get our information from. At the end of my research paper, a reference section has been dedicated to citing my sources, and an annotated bibliography to do the same, but this time I tell my audience how I used each of my sources.

Self Reflection – eaglessb52

Core Value 1. My work demonstrates that I used a variety of social and interactive practices that involve recursive stages of exploration, discovery, conceptualization, and development.

As someone who hate’s writing essays I’m definitely one to see improvement in this area. First off I believe that throughout this semester I really learned to spend time developing my final research paper. I realized also I needed to spend more time than just one night busting out some unfinished piece of work and that I really needed to put effort into this essay.

Core Value 2. My work demonstrates that I read critically, and that I placed texts into conversation with one another to create meaning by synthesizing ideas from various discourse communities.

After this semester I feel that I can much more effectively use sources to help strengthen my essays from now until the future. I feel that I also can connect my sources much better to my essay and other supporting sources.

Core Value 3. My work demonstrates that I rhetorically analyzed the purpose, audience, and contexts of my own writing and other texts and visual arguments.

Doing the visual rhetoric assignment allowed me to realize that every little detail is important. I was blown away on the level of detail that goes into some of those ad council commercials. I knew that writing my assignment meant I had to match that level of detail when it came to writing it.

Core Value 4: My work demonstrates that I have met the expectations of academic writing by locating, evaluating, and incorporating illustrations and evidence to support my own ideas and interpretations.

I was able to more effectively use the school’s resources provided to me to access the information I needed to write my essays. I learned to more carefully analyze any source that I was presented with even if it might not agree with me because I can still use the information provided in it.

Core Value 5. My work demonstrates that I respect my ethical responsibility to represent complex ideas fairly and to the sources of my information with appropriate citation.

I never used APA format before when writing an essay so it was something all new to me this year. I believe that after learning so I was able to grasp it fairly well and I saw an overall improvement in my writing quality. I was able to convey my ideas much clearer once I was able to back up my claims with real evidence behind it. It’s much better overall to be able to use evidence than to spout unsourced claims.

Self Reflection – D2Forsaken

Core Value 1. My work demonstrates that I used a variety of social and interactive practices that involve recursive stages of exploration, discovery, conceptualization, and development.

When writing my essay I realized that I couldn’t just sit down on one single day and write it. I had to take steps when writing this as in writing and getting feedback in order to fix my errors I had. If writing took one step and was finished we wouldn’t have to take a class for it. At some points, I realized that I even needed to turn back and do some more research. Doing so made me realize there was more to Net Neutrality then just the internet. There was a whole concept behind it on things such as without Net Neutrality, ISPs would have full control of our internet use. I developed new ideas and it was able to help me with my essay.

Core Value 2. My work demonstrates that I read critically, and that I placed texts into conversation with one another to create meaning by synthesizing ideas from various discourse communities.

After evaluating and considering my resources, I selected evidence from each that would allow me to efficiently and effectively address all aspects of my argument. I strategically placed some of the cited pieces in paragraphs that I felt accurately reinforced the idea they each individually highlighted. I then chose to place other cited elements in paragraphs that I felt I could challenge to make my overall argument better. After each citation, I thoroughly explained how it connected to my main argument and analyzed the message each author attempted to portray to their readers. I then built off my opinions and knowledge along with the authors’ opinions and thoughts to leave no room for my readers to hesitate on which stance to take on this topic.

Core Value 3. My work demonstrates that I rhetorically analyzed the purpose, audience, and contexts of my own writing and other texts and visual arguments.

While doing the Visual Rhetoric, it taught me to pay attention to even the smallest details of a scene. Doing the Visual Rhetoric with no volume allowed me to use my interpretation. This showed me that I had to paint a clear picture throughout my essay in order to keep my audience on my side. Even with my rebuttal, I had to have a counter argument so people know I was FOR Net Neutrality. The rebuttal was a way to try to break the ice on my side trying to prove me wrong but I was able to counter it with my points. By using the visual aid it allowed me to prove my evidence even more and further keep my side on top of things.

Core Value 4: My work demonstrates that I have met the expectations of academic writing by locating, evaluating, and incorporating illustrations and evidence to support my own ideas and interpretations.

I was able to find my quotes through articles and authors that I found trustworthy. With the articles in hand, I was able to find specific details in them that I needed for my essay. Using these quotes helped me to make my side heavier and harder to counter. Explaining the quote made me realize that the quote has a much larger meaning then what the actual quote says itself. Doing the Annotated Bibliography helped me analyze my sources further and made me think about whether or not it would help me with my essay. Also while trying to pick sources to use at specific times I was able to look at my Bibliography and see what each article was talking about instead of skimming through each article over and over again.

Core Value 5. My work demonstrates that I respect my ethical responsibility to represent complex ideas fairly and to the sources of my information with appropriate citation.

Maintaining academic honesty is an important thing to give credit to those who had the ideas. I gave credit to all my sources and used the quotes as they were intended in the original articles. I used many different sources which allowed me to further expand on quotes to back up ideas on Net Neutrality. Even with my Rebuttal, I explained their quotes the same way as I did with all the quotes, showing that even the wrong side matters. I also explained what the sources meant in the Annotated Bibliography and cited each source in the proper APA format. The reference section at the bottom of the paper also showed that I cited my pictures.

Self- Reflective- 3g

Core Value 1. My work demonstrates that I used a variety of social and interactive practices that involve recursive stages of exploration, discovery, conceptualization, and development.

When I began writing my three argumentative essays, I learned that there were more stages to writing on a controversial topic than I had anticipated. I had to explore all my sources to formulate my own opinion on said topic, then explain every aspect to readers. From those conclusions that I came to on my own, my writing went in several directions before I figured out what path I was to take for my completed research essay. Considering that my topic relied on discrediting one of the most highly revered astrophysicists in the world, there was a large social aspect to this essay in that I had to discredit him yet still give him all the respect and credit that he does in fact deserve.

Core Value 2. My work demonstrates that I read critically, and that I placed texts into conversation with one another to create meaning by synthesizing ideas from various discourse communities.

Throughout all my essays I felt as though I used evidence and quotes from my sources in the best way possible to both explain a concept and support my claims. When explaining the contradictions between the multiverse theory and the fine-tuning theory, I used several sources to explain what they were and another source to mathematically prove that they contradict each other. I also used this method with explaining several different concepts in easier ways that would typically be very hard to explain.

Core Value 3. My work demonstrates that I rhetorically analyzed the purpose, audience, and contexts of my own writing and other texts and visual arguments.

When writing my essays, I took note of every detail that I added and did my best to cut out any that were not of significance. This way my essay was full of facts and explanations that supported my thesis. I also did this specifically with my visual rhetoric assignment, it taught me to pay attention to every single detail and how to distinguish which were important or not. I leaned to take in quite literally every second of the video to put together an interpretation rather than watching the whole thing then making my assumptions. I implemented this method throughout my argumentative essays. I also learned how to write to the specific audience that I expect to be reading my paper and better explained things in a way I thought would be best explained.

Core Value 4: My work demonstrates that I have met the expectations of academic writing by locating, evaluating, and incorporating illustrations and evidence to support my own ideas and interpretations.

I have met the academic expectations by finding and analyzing numerous sources both in support of and against my initial position. I used those sources to support my claims and in the rebuttal. I used both descriptive and numerical evidence from sources to support my position. I utilized sources that fully related to my topic and added useful information rather just meaningless additions.

Core Value 5. My work demonstrates that I respect my ethical responsibility to represent complex ideas fairly and to the sources of my information with appropriate citation.

I cited unbiased sources and used their own quotes directly to interpret said concept in the way that was intended rather than twisting their words to suit my position. I also gave credit to all my used sources within the paper for both quotes and information used. This is basic courtesy and academic integrity. Plagiarism is not accepted and credit should be given where credit is due.

Reflective- Flowers3399

Core Value 1: My work demonstrates that I used a variety of social and interactive practices that involve recursive stages of exploration, discovery, conceptualization, and development.

For this course, I took advantage of the feedback please and sent some of my work in there for extra help. One piece of work that specifically sticks out is my hypothesis. Although I changed my topic and it no longer applies the professors help got me on the right track for my original topic. At first, I was not sure if I was on the right track with the layout and detail of the hypothesis. Once I sent the assignment into feedback please the professor cleared up any confusion I had. He also explained that I had to be more detailed and concrete. The one on one meeting also gave me extra clarity on my topic and the direction I was originally going in. After the feedback, I was able to better my work.

Core Value 2: My work demonstrates that I read critically, and that I placed texts into conversation with one another to create meaning by synthesizing ideas from various discourse communities.

An assignment that demonstrates this core value is the Stone Money assignment. For this assignment, we had to listen to an NPR broadcast, read an article by Milton Friedman, and find our own source. The broadcast was about currency in Brazil. The article discussed a currency of money that was made of stone and sat at the bottom of the ocean but still had value for the owner. My source discussed the economy and how our economy makes our money. For the paper, I was also able to connect the ideas of the two sources and my source with each other for a better understanding of the concept of money. After the assignment, I had a better understanding that money is not real and as long as people believe it has value then it will continue to exist.

Core Value 3: My work demonstrates that I rhetorically analyzed the purpose, audience, and contexts of my own writing and other texts and visual arguments.

The work that allowed me to rhetorically analyze was the visual rewrite. The assignment consisted of watching a 30-second advertisement with no sound. While watching the advertisement we had to analyze what was happening second by second and provide details from the video to support our reasoning. Watching the video with no sound allowed me to come up with my own interpretations and ideas of what was happening and why. It also abled me to raise questions for why the director made the scenes the way he did. Each second of the video acted as the context that was support for my own thinking. For my advertisement, the audience was directed towards family and my rhetoric provides details to support the point of view. This assignment made me realize that every single detail in a video is in there for a reason.

Core Value 4: My work demonstrates that I have met the expectations of academic writing by locating, evaluating, and incorporating illustrations and evidence to support my own ideas and interpretations.

This core value is demonstrated in my rebuttal assignment. For this assignment, we had to focus on a specific audience and in this case, the audience was readers who did not support your point of view. The audience for my paper was readers who claimed weed addiction and dependency was not possible. Throughout the paper, I explained that it was possible to become addicted to the drug, start a dependency, and possibly abuse it. I also provided the negative effects that came along with addiction, dependency, and abuse. The sources helped me to provide evidence of support for my ideas and interpretations. Some sources provided statistics and personal stories that allowed me to explain my point of view in the most accurate and truthful way.

Core Value 5: My work demonstrates that I respect my ethical responsibility to represent complex ideas fairly and to the sources of my information with appropriate citation.

One of my works that demonstrates that I responsibly represented ideas and sources fairly is my annotated bibliography. The bibliography consisted of sources used in the research paper. If some sources were not in the paper they could be in the bibliography as well. This assignment allowed me to fairly explain what each article was about in its entirety. I also explained how and why I used the sources in my paper. Explaining how I used the source helped to support that I was representing ideas fairly. The bibliography allowed for proper citation format that shows throughout all of my work. The appropriate citation made sure that the author was getting credit for their work when it was used in my paper.

Reflective-Baahubali

Core Value 1. My work demonstrates that I used a variety of social and interactive practices that involve recursive stages of exploration, discovery, conceptualization, and development.

Writing is an amazing art and truly a social process. I met up to this requirement by researching about my hypothesis or topic from one source to another. Also the edit suggestions about my work from peers and my professor. And all these stuff requires a lot of editing’s or else your readers would point out the mistakes and try to mess with your work. Same happened with my ‘Causal Argument’ paper I had to do lots of editing till the last minute just to make sure that my work is at its best. And as we all know that before the editing comes the writing part. I was very confused about my writing like where to start, the sources, ideas, etc. and the answer to all that confusion was, “research for sources.”

Core Value 2. My work demonstrates that I read critically, and that I placed texts into conversation with one another to create meaning by synthesizing ideas from various discourse communities.

Reading is a most important part in writing. For writing something new and valuable it is necessary to read. Like I achieved this core value by reading an article by Milton Friedman’s “The Island of Stone Money”, carefully and consciously. And wrote a piece of writing of ‘Stone Money.’ For this I read the above article by Milton Friedman, NPR broadcast and various other sources on money and its evolution. And hence I combined the Milton Friedman’s article and NPR broadcasts into one conversation.

Core Value 3. My work demonstrates that I rhetorically analysed the purpose, audience, and contexts of my own writing and other texts and visual arguments.

The writing which justifies that I used core value 3 which is that I rhetorically analysed the purpose, audience and context of writing in the semester is through ‘Safer Saws’ assignment. For this assignment I read and looked at multiple sources for different views of different people and hence made different claims for the safer saws issue. And the articles consisted of the viewpoints of saw manufacturers, people who have used them, customers, etc. so for this I chose 5 sources which were: the article, “The Saw That Won’t Cut Off Your Fingers Has Arrived”, “10 amputations a day: the need for a safer table saw”, “Feds might force table-saw makers to adopt radically safer technology”, “STATEMENT OF CHAIRMAN INEZ M. TENENBAUM” and “Table Saw Injury Lawyer”. And due to many sources and article it gave me a broad and different objective of the argument. And also my professor showed us all video of grass’s technology safer stop.

Core Value 4: My work demonstrates that I have met the expectations of academic writing by locating, evaluating, and incorporating illustrations and evidence to support my own ideas and interpretations.

I have achieved core value by working on one of the assignments called as ‘Visual Rhetoric.’ According to this core value, we have to work on an assignment where we visually look at an video (without audio), analyse on our own what is happening, evaluating and hence writing it down for evidence. And this is all what we did in the ‘Visual Rhetoric’ assignment. And even we had to look and mention even the slightest detains of every second in the writing so that the viewers can imagine and understand the message in the video without the audio. Because unimportant details are by far very important.

Core Value 5. My work demonstrates that I respect my ethical responsibility to represent complex ideas fairly and to the sources of my information with appropriate citation.

Another important part after writing is citing the sources which you have used for your writings. And that is the greatest ethical responsibility for an academic writing. And if you fail to do so then it might be considered that you might have copied it from somewhere and give it your own name and hence claim it that you have written it, but it was actually written by someone else. And this core value is achieved by writing ‘White Paper’ assignment. And my white paper meet all the requirements of the core value. It provides all the information about the sources which I have used for my research and briefly explains them also. And hence by that I meet the criteria of this core value.
