It seems counterintuitive that planes would not have armor to begin with. During World War II, many planes were lost due to advanced antiaircraft weaponry used by the Germans. It was determined that it was time to start armoring the planes to give them a better chance in combat. Planes that made it back from a mission were analyzed for bullet holes and it was concluded the armor needed to be added in those areas. Makes sense right?…. not really. If you think about it, the armor needs to be added to areas of the plane where there are no bullet holes. The planes that never returned were shot in the areas where there were no bullet holes on the planes that did return safely. Thinking about it in this manor makes you realize the proper location for the armor. Sometimes you have to think backwards to move forward.

It seems counterintuitive that there was multiple definitions of rape throughout world history. Rape is rape. It is as simple as that. Initially, rape had to do with another man’s property (the woman) being taken from him. Then came the factor of whether the woman was a virgin or not (I’m not too sure why it ever mattered). After that, came the notion of that if you became pregnant, you did not get raped because somehow you can not get pregnant during nonconsensual sex. Back in the day, if you were a black woman there was no such thing as rape. No one cared if black women were raped because they were considered “savages or slaves.” A man could not be charged with raping his wife until 1993 due to laws put in place a century prior that somehow went by “unnoticed” for 100 years. Currently, rape statutes cover everything from a man getting raped (which was never even thought of prior) to a person getting drugged then “consenting” to sex while intoxicated. If people just kept their hands to themselves our society wouldn’t even have these issues.

It seems counterintuitive that there’s a Pizza Hut and a KFC next to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. This is crazy!! I watched this video of a guy turning one direction with his phone camera recording and there was a Pizza Hut and a KFC. He then turned the camera the other direction to display the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. I’m shocked… wondering if the video is fake or not. I’ve never seen any other video or movie of the pyramids that has a Pizza Hut and KFC included. Every video in school or movie always shows the pyramids surrounded by sand in the middle of the desert. Very shocked to finally learn that the Pyramids are commercialized like that.
